1What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They let the site remember things about your visit, such as the choices you have made, and help us understand how the site is used.
This policy also covers technologies that work in a similar way, such as local storage, session storage and tracking pixels. Where we say cookies, we mean all of them.
2How we use cookies
When you first visit the site, we ask which cookies you are happy for us to use. Apart from those that are strictly necessary, no cookies are set until you agree, and you can change your mind at any time.
We group cookies into four categories:
- Necessary. These make the site work, for example by remembering your cookie choices. They do not need your consent and cannot be switched off.
- Preferences. These remember choices you make on the site so that it works the way you prefer.
- Statistics. These help us understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed most, so that we can improve it. We use Google Analytics for this.
- Marketing. These measure how well our advertising works and help us show relevant content to people on other platforms. We use Google Ads, LinkedIn and Meta for this.
We use Cookiebot to ask for and record your consent. Our Google services also use Google Consent Mode, which means they respect your choice and do not set statistics or marketing cookies unless you have agreed to them.
3The cookies we use
The table below is kept up to date automatically by Cookiebot, which scans this site regularly. It lists each cookie we use, who sets it, what it is for and how long it lasts, and it shows the choice you have made.
We also use your browser's session storage to remember that you have closed the announcement bar at the top of the page, so it does not keep reappearing while you browse. This is not a cookie, it is not used to track you, and it is deleted when you close the browser tab.
4Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by other companies whose services we use. They are only set if you have agreed to the relevant category. These companies use the information in line with their own privacy policies:
- Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads): policies.google.com/privacy
- LinkedIn (LinkedIn Insight Tag): linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Meta (Meta Pixel): facebook.com/privacy/policy
- Cookiebot by Usercentrics, which records your consent: cookiebot.com/en/privacy-policy
Links to our social media pages and the share buttons on our resources take you to those platforms, which may set their own cookies once you are on their sites.
5Managing your preferences
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the links in the table above, or by changing your cookie settings here. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything that happened before you withdrew it.

6Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we change the services we use. The current version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
